Teaching My kid to pray using A-C-T-S

ACTS - stands for Adoration, Contrition, Thanksgiving and Supplication
I remembered this was taught to us in Cathecism, when I was still a kid. And, since then, aside from praying the canned prayers, I design my personal prayers, this way.
I also taugh my daughter to pray this way, before she goes to sleep. Say praises to God, then ask for forgiveness, thank him and ask for blessings or anything she wants to say to God.
After 2 to 3 times of guiding her, she already got familiar with the steps and can pray on her own.

Hi there, i salute you for being a good parent to your child,, i am also a mother of four and my youngest has just turned 5 last month...he knows how to pray and sing christian songs, he is also active in attending his sunday class during worship service and in that way he is learning things about Jesus Christ and it is really a blessing seeing them in a way God wanted them to be through us whose guiding them right..God bless you and your family.

Wow, I like that side of the Christian faith. You guys have activities to involve the kids in God's teachings. On the other hand, as a Catholic, we have to exert extra effort to find the right avenue for our kids to be more involved in religious activities.
