Well, Lance has decided to give up the fight regarding doping allegations against him. He announced this just hours ago shocking the sporting world along with others. He will be stripped of his title and maybe all awards. I live in Austin and so does Lance. He is a big hero in this community as well as to those who struggle with cancer. Did he dope? I have no opinion but it seems like doping has been done for years in the cycling community. I am interested in the opinion of other mylotters. On overnight news, I have recently heard Lance's situation as one of the biggest sports frauds of all time.

Whether he cheated or not Lance Armstrong knows that this will never end unless he walks away from it. There are no positive tests against him. The process of bringing people to speak against him is clearly not fair and would never stand in front of a responsible court of law. He knows it will never end so he is walking away. I think he's just plain had enough. I'm all for catching cheaters but where does this stop. Are we going to start digging people up? I think if they can bring a fair case against him they should nail him. Problem is that if that were possible it would have already happened. Right now the USADA has declared him guilty without proof. That is not a fair trial and the way this was set up will never give him one.
