Is there a way to delete extension or preferences in Firefox? What I mean is I want to delete the extensions in about:config. It houses all those nasty toolbars and I want to keep them off my browsers. Advance thank you. Again, I don;t mean the add-ons.

Yes we can enable or disable an add-on. In the firefox menu go to 'Add-ons'. Then select 'extensions'. There you can see all the add-ons that you have installed. And now you can disable or uninstall it. I hope you got me correctly

It's just a thought here, but find any files in Firefox from your application Data folder and delete the ones that don't sound like it would match with Firefox. This is likely a worse case scenario type of thing, but Owlwings does gave better advice.
You could also simply uninstall Firefox and reinstall it, but I'm not sure whether you're going to go that far for it.

Thanks for the advice. Like you said, I am willing to uninstall and re-install Firefox but I think it will bring more hassle to me.
