Misread prescription?

I think it's a worldwide known fact that doctors don't have the best handwriting in the world.In fact,every time someone sees my handwrite,he/she would most probably say "Hm,you must be a doctor,right?".
I have read an alarming article regarding the number of people dying because they or the pharmacist can't decipher what the doctor actually wrote down.
Did you find yourself in the position of actually asking the doctor what he/she wrote down,because you couldn't distinguish anything?

When I worked in a medical supply store we would often get prescriptions that were not legible. I had a knack for deciphering what it said. But, even so, there were times when I had to call the doctor's office to find out what it said. They really need to write more legibly or type the prescription to avoid mistakes.
