Has anyone tried this program? How does it work exactly? It looks like it's tied in with your grocery store card and maybe a credit card and you earn rewards tward gas? The site isn't very detailed and I hate that they do that... you know a brief sentance or two abut how you earn but no fine details.
One of the local grocery store chains amazingly enough is listed so I'm eager to try it out. Though, what I'm thinking I'd want to do is get a new savers card since I don't know where mine is and they let you use your phone number instead, but I don't know the number to my actual card. Otherwise hubby has a card but I'd hate to take his main card as he tossed the keyring cards.
Eitherway, if I can get some rewards for just using my grocery store card why not?

I've signed up for this program, but even after getting the rewards card, I have to admit that I'm still really confused about how it works. So, for me, I think that I'm just going to stick to earning points on my Kroger Plus card and then using those points so that I am able to save money on my gas. You see, with our Kroger Plus, you can save up to 1000 points in a month and use that to get up to a dollar off of gas. In addition to that, I'm considering starting to buy gift cards for my groceries and such that they sell at Kroger so that I'm able to get more fuel points.

That's why I asked the question on here because the site seemed so vague. I don't have a Kroger here so when people mention the good deals they offer I'm quite jealous!

I buy shell gas 98% of the time so I will check this out. The place I go also owns a grocery store and if you buy groceries you get so many cents off a gallon. But I don't shop there...I buy shell because I noticed when I got gas there my car ran much better. Thanks for bringing this to light.

King Soopers (owned by Kroger) here is part of the Shell Fuel Rewards. When we use the loyalty card when buying groceries, we're given cents off the price of gasoline. How much depends on how much we spend on groceries.
It sounds as if there are different programs, though. Maybe if you go to the store listed and ask them, they could explain their participation.

Kroger has a deal with Shell and also has their own gas stations that I use. I found out that I could get my minutes at Kroger and that earns me double points! Also, I get points for groceries and cash back on my credit card so I buy my groceries with my credit card and pay it off each month. That way, I save money on the gas (which is usually lower than competing stations anyway) and get a cash rebate on my food.
I would go get another card if you lost yours. They don't care how many you have, just go to the customer service counter and ask for one.
