Cameras Are Bad Luck For Me

I just got the new digital camera I ordered from Amazon today and it wouldn't work, they included batteries and I used them. Then I tried the ones I had here and still nothing. I'm so dissapointed, I really needed this camera for my business stuff online. I will get a refund but I really don't know where to get a decent camera now. I hate Best Buy , they ripped me off before about $40. and I don't have any other option now than to go to Staples or somewhere like that now. I'm not ordering anymore online. Where do you buy your photography stuff at? I have had alot of bad luck with cameras, in the past I have bought at least 2 other ones and they didn't work, etc. Is it just me or do they just sell alot of defective cameras out there? I'm glad I have this current one for at least 4 years and it worked so well. I really got alot of use out of it.

It is ideal to buy directly than online. I have bought online batteries for laptop, camera. these worked out well. pl take refund and buy one directly from a good stores in your place.

i always go to ebay... ever since they never disappoint me. one thing is that at ebay you will know how are the best sellers... ebay put a best seller badge to seller that has good feedback with their customers. so i always buy those products for bestsellers they have 99.5% good products.

Did you put the batteries in the wrong way round maybe? 
Another thing to try is to wait until midnight, switch all the lights out and try it then. It's just a shot in the dark, but it might just work.

Can you call the company or do an on line chat with them. Maybe there is something really unique that still needs to be done. You are right it is probably defective but before I go through the hassle of returnining it I would want to make sure. I would also let the company know how on happy you are with their service and who knows maybe they will discount you one.
