I just watched a horror movie named Ringu-Janpan version. I heard that this movie is very frightening...then i prepared my mood to watch it...it is daytime in here but i turned on all lamps.
In the beginning of the movie, i wear a headphone and make a big screen to watch it...I was freak out many times and i shudder with horror by listening the movies sound. I wanted to stop watching it but I really want to know the end of the story. I didn't dare to watch it with a big screen and the sound out loud anymore...
I left off the headphone, turn off the sound and make screen is very small. I just try to read its English subtitle. Finally, it is the end of the movie and I am not very scary after watching it.
I think i will use this way to watch the others horror movies...

hello,
I also Watched Ringu a long time ago. It is the original movie which was remade in Hollywood and named RING. Ring is my favorite horror movie till date. It was really good movie. More than the horror and the spooky part, I loved the mystery and suspense that was created in the movie. All the characters were also great. I loved this movie. My all time favourite horror movie. I was also frightened by this movie. Its a great movie and well made horror thriller.

Ryan, watching horror movie alone is quite scary especially during late at night. But during daylight, usually it is not scary provided you don't enlarge the screen and don't switch on the sound too loud. It is the special effect sound that makes us feels scared whenever we watched any horror movie. I had watched "The Ring" & "The Ring 2", both really quite scary but at the ending part, i really feel quite confusing by it. So far, i haven't watch the Japanese version yet. Maybe next time i will watch it and compare them. See which version is more scarier.....

I did watch that movies like that but i still got a phobia of it. Last night, i didn't dare to turn off lamps and a sense of a woman creeping out from a TV and a closed her eyes was in my mind, i didn't dare to close my eyes...
I guess i need 2 days more to get out of that phobia...
I heard that Ringu is the first version, after that many versions were born...such as the ring, the ring 2, etc..

It's scary, alright. What you did is a small step into becoming a horror flick enthusiast. Of course you're scared. Ringu is unique and this is the mother of the genre of the long-haired-scary-female-ghost-apparition type of horror movies. It's supposed to scare the wits out of you and you've done a wonderful job of seeing it through the end. You'll get used to watching horror films in a huge screen and with the sounds soon.

Are you talking about the movie "The Ring"?
I also get scared sometimes but not much. I know it is all for entertainment and nothing more.
Next time be more brave and watch it on a big screen, okay?

It is funny that you make a small window of it. I didn't knew that "The Ring is the second version. I also got scared when I watched it first time, but when I watched the comedy "The scary movies" all the horror was gone and I found it funny.
Have you watched "the scary movies" yet? It is a comedy version of the horror movies.

Oh, sound effects make me scared too. That's why I always tune down the volume of the speaker. I like watching horror in a wide screen so that I'd see everything well. LOL. Though it makes me scream sometimes. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

I don't get scared of horror movies because I know it is all fake and because I have seen how movies are made and how the editing is done so the horror effect on me is gone. I think you doing great by knowing how to watch the scary movies without getting scared. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
