I work as a consultant.I meet a lot of people in my job.I will write about the eccentric behavior of one company head met I on my job.Once a medium sized company hired me to help them in their marketing activity. The managing director was a very strict person, who didn't like others to question or interrupt him when he talked. The people interacting with him were supposed to agree with his ideas and support his views. While discussing the marketing strategies of his product,he said that I should come to his office everyday and check the progress of his marketing team. Since I knew his peculiar trait I agreed to his view, but quickly stated he would have to arrange my transport for all these days.He arranged the transport for two days and then informed me that there was no need for me to come everyday but twice a week to check the progress, which was what I had originally intended for planning the companies marketing strategy.

I could only imagine the type of people you run into and deal with on a daily basis. I find those who think they know it, wont let people interupt or share their ideas are those who dont get very far. Thwy usually end up failing because they run everyone away, and burn their bridges.

There are different types, who if we view with detached emotion will see how pompous and silly they are. There was once an engineer who was running a medium firm, who thought that accounting and auditing were useless department, and there should be only minimum employees in that department. He argued that the productive department like engineering and manufacturing should have the maximum number of employees. Thus the number of people in accounts department were transferred into various other departments and a small group of employees were retained in the accounts department.Next month when salary and expenditure vouchers were held up and production came to standstill, because payment to creditors was also delayed due to pending purchase bill processing, which all happened due to shortage of accounts personnel. When this crisis occurred,he admitted that the accounts section needed more people for the smooth functioning of the whole organization.
