They were a brand I never saw before and I think the kind with no hormones or something like that and even cheaper. I was slightly worried as they were thick too and when I put them in he oven they were still slightly frozen at the fat part. But I left them in for 10 minutes longer and they were soooo juicy, yummy! What did you last cook that was just as good or better than this?

Sounds delicious! I rarely eat porkchops to be honest. I find they are always so dry. But I perfer them in the crokpot which helps with the dryness. But I find I have a hard time digesting them. I cooked turkey skillets for my veggies mixture.

We have them maybe once a month, maybe twice if that. I've made them via a suggestion of my dad's. I know he was getting tired of the other food mom always makes or the take out food. I can make a whole slew of new food but they are pretty picky here so have to limit what kind of food I make. I wish I could use a crock pot here but my mother thinks they use up too much electricity.

I lvoe the crockpot mainly in the winter months. I cook up stew, soups, and meats in it. I dont know how much the hydro damage on using them. My parents have it on for the dogs food, usually daily. I lvoe trying new recipes, I have a pork roast in the freezer, and a pack of pork chops as well. I was going to make pork bokchoy soup similar to what you get in the chinese restaurent.

I made my hamburger and hotdog casserole for dinner lasts night, it has 3 pounds of ground beef in it and usually I use 2 packets of taco seasoning, last night I used one packet of taco seasoning and 1 packet of Fajita seasoning and 2 jalapenos, it turned out really good. My husband had 3 servings.

Wow three servings, that must have been good. I only use a box breading and I added some thyme to them as I have been doing. I was thinking of doing a potato chip crust but maybe next time I'll try it on mine first to see how it turns out.

Everything I cook is pretty good...even fish fingers. It's good to have a reason to brag.

Well, here was the case of trying something new that worked out well. I like pork chops but haven't had them in a while, the last time I had them they were fried in a skillet after marinading overnight, they were delicious and moist. I think what makes the chops dry, besides the cut and actual meat, is the marinade used. Certain meats need more care then other, even when they are the same cut. It's like grilled chicken, if properly marinated even the light meat can be moist and tasty.
