High Text Drive

To text or not to text? That is the question. On my long and tiresome path to self discovery, I discovered that I'm very textual, one might say I have a high text drive. Ha. Just kidding around here. Did you laugh? Laughter is good for the soul, and health they say. I actually do not even text one second per day. I have no texter to text with. How much of a texter are you? I have heard some terrible stories about texters while driving. They cause accidents, sadly. I saw a guy walking his dog today while texting, for the first time. I am sure many have done that too. Do you ever text while driving or walking your dog?

I only have my husband to exchange text with. And then there's my mom and my dad, too. I would say, on average I only send 20 texts everyday.

Then you are just a minor texter I'd say and no worries on the driving part thank goodness. The less I text the better. I could get hooked on it I'm sure if I started, and texting everyone every minute. I don't want to do that.

I do text but not while I'm driving. I can do it while I'm walking, eating, talking to other people in person. I don't even answer my cell phone while I'm driving because I do have two very small children and I'm always thinking about there safety while I'm driving.

Oh good, cause I would be worried if you did. It is a dangerous act, very many people get into accidents due to that and some can be killed or otherwise handicapped. I know you must be thinking of the kid's safety as well as yours when driving, good for you! I'm proud of you.

I do love to text however I'm disciplined enough that I have never done it while driving or walking, nothing is that important that it cannot wait. I find myself texting way more than actually engaging in verbal conversation, I prefer it actually.

I would probably like it more than verbally comummunicating after awhile as well. Therefore that is why I prefer not to start. I guess I'll be way back into the old century that way but oh well.

I have never texted. I am online on and off all day. I did have a cell phone for about four months about three years ago. Texting while driving is against law here. I may get a cell phone at some point but if I do it will be and iPhone or one with all the perks. I don't see why i would get some basic one instead of one with all the perks.

Sadly to say, I did text while driving last night, and I knew that it was dangerous, and I got 2 persons in my car with me too. You might think that I was irresponsible, and I was. According to statistics, many teens nowadays text more than ever. They text while they eat; they text while they are in class; they text while they are doing anything. That is one epidemic we are facing now.

Hi ya, kingparker. Oh I hope you don't try this ona daily basis, however even one time could mean something fatal or dangerous for you or the whole car full of people so please be careful. I was on the same road as I saw a young woman get out of her car one day and drive up the road hitting another car while texting. It's just unecessary and just adds another danger to the already somewhat dangerous act of driving.

hi NailTech! I text only when needed. Every month I get an amount of prepaid loads from my company as one of our perks. And I can't use them all. I share some to my mom and bf since we have unlimited calls and free text if we contact our co-workers. Have a great day!

Hi kris3rde. I'm glad you only text when needed, otherwise it would mean something more serious. Can you imagine in maybe 10 years from now having to go to Texting Anonymous. How embarassing is that.
