And it was about a woman being arrested for letting her kids go outside to play on scooters. I was like really. What law states that they can't be outside playing. As I was reading farther I realized that her neighbor called the police saying the kids were playing outside unsupervised. So when the cops showed up she was outside not realizing they were there for her. She was shocked when they put hancuffs on her and hauled her off to jail for the night for child endangerment. I was like wow. This is something else. But she could have been outside the entire time but not in the view of her neighbor. I was wondering what would you do if this happened to you?

you could be right. she might be there but their neighbors have not seen her. Their neighbors are too much meddlers. They should not have reported it immediately to the police. They should have gone first to their neighbor to check if the mother knows that the children are playing outside. then inform her to safeguard them. they have no conscience. They had the mother in jail, so who will be taking care of the kids? They should have think of that first before acting impulsively.

This is the first I'm hearing of this so I don't know the full story, but it really depends on just how old the children were. If they were teenagers then that would be one thing, but if she allowed her young children to ride these scooters with no adult present watching over them then yes I can understand why she was being arrested. Again I don't have all the facts so I am just basing this on what you told us in your discussion here on MyLot.
