Facebook is turned as a great marketing place and lot of people interested in adding more friends there, they don't care about whether they know about the person or not. Even some people are interested in creating fake accounts and adding a lot of friends in this account. We have the ability to sell our fb account to the marketing people and we can earn a good amount based on our friends count, so lot of people just adding and sending friend request to the person who is having fb account, they don't worry about whether they know the person or not, simply they will become friends to the strangers. Some persons are creating a lot of fake accounts in fb for this purpose and they send friend request to random persons to increase their friends count. After getting a lot of friends, they will sell their account to the marketing people for a good rate. We must be very careful with this kind of persons, don't approve the friend request in fb easily if you have suspect with some persons, there may be a chance that you will receive a lot of spam messages from the marketing persons, if your friend sell his/her account for money. Some people making a lot of money from this kind of fb marketing. What is your opinion about this kind of persons who are Misusing Facebook?

marketing strategists use every avenue they find useful. and that includes social network sites. this one would even be more exposed than using billboards. plus, it is way much cheaper and less complicated (i think). for us common users, this maybe too much annoying. especially if we are in no way interested in their products. but in a different perspective, some business-minded users find this very useful indeed. and not only sellers, but for some buyers as well who are more into online shopping. but personally, i don't like the idea of people adding you as a "friend" in order for them to fill their portfolio. it's as if you were just considered as part of the quantity, a statistic. then they move on as if they never even noticed you were there. oh well.. marketing.

I am for you too. this is marketing to the craze and people are going mad out of this marketing thing. There is a limit to everything and this is too much for marketing. I tell you that people are become smart these days and do not fall for all these marketing tricks from marketers. First they used to send multiple emails and now on facebook also. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead .

Hi friend, yes, people are very smart and don't fall with this kind of scammers, but some newbies in fb added some unwanted applications and join with unwanted groups and suffer a lot with it

Personally, i don't add people in my facebook account whom i am not affiliated with. And yeah, i may agree with you in terms of using facebook to earn market traffic. Indeed it's a business in this online generation that companies do earn a lot from social media traffic and some may use this as a tool to generate income. Although, in the context of making friends and creating a social circle, it's best to really add the people you know on facebook. Have a great day!

Hi friend, yes, we must add the persons whoever we know. If we accept strange requests, we may face some unwanted issues due to it

I have been always choosy of whom to accept at FB.. I have almost 600 subs now :D haha.. Facebook for me is something to share with family and friends. There may be times that I am able to accept people I don't know "personally" like those I've met at online games, online sites/marketing and etc.. but the moment I accept them I evaluate their profile and posts. Whether they are brutally violent, curses on posts, foul words- then I choose to delete them. I have always wanted my FB community safe and decent especially I've lots of things about me there. From profile details to photos and locations.. About these people misusing Facebook, I think it's fine to receive invitations from them. I have people inviting me- just as long as I refuse nicely they won't hate me, then we could just go along. :) But if they insist you everyday, bugging you, spamming you even you nicely refused, then cut off the connection :D

Hi friend, good to hear about your fb activities, you are right, we can block the persons whoever force us to join with their network, it is our own wish to accept an invitation or not
