Do you get Encore in your cable? its in whats called the movie teir. They have been haveing old series on this channel. Im getting to watch it all the time now. Diagnosis Murder, Alfred Hitchcock, and even Cagney and Lacey.
a while back i was discussing some of the great detectives and I recently got a great surprise. Diagnosis Murder had Matlock (Andy Griffith) as a lawyer helping Mark (the doctor Vandyke) solve a murder
now thats what i call a great show. do you love it when they combine great characters from favorite shows in a series like that? can you think of a time when you saw this happen and you was so enjoying it?

Diagnosis Murder had great "reunion" episodes, like the "spy" episode where they got a lot of old TV spies together.
The roomie and I once said that we should write a "Emergency"/"Diagnosis Murder" story where its set back when Mark was younger (1970's or when Emergency was on) and the hospital that the Emergency EMTs normally took people to - Rampart - was over loaded with these accident victims so they sent them to Community General Hospital.

I'm really not sure if i get encore or not. I don't mind watching some older programs if i haven't seen them. Don't like to re-watch things i have already seen. Happy weekend.

I grew up in the 70's and 80's and I always thought that Cagney and Lacey was a little corny. Also Diagnosis murder was corny. But when I do seem them now I say to myself, those shows sure do look dated. Where some other ones don't seem so dated. Lets take the Honeymooners. Now that was way before my time, but I think that show is timeless and so is Married with Children. I like looking at some old TV shows. Just today I was watching Family Ties. That brings back some memories. I hardly watch TV these days, thats because I am always on the computer. LOL. But I do love old and new movies. I was up late last night watching Back to the Future parts one, two and three. Nice!!!

I haven't seen Quantum Leap in a long time. I used to watch that once in a while. And Cheers, well, I have not seen that in a long time. But I like it when they have those marathons on with the HoneyMooner's and the marathons with the Twilight Zone. I used to watch those shows a lot when I was a kid. And I remember seeing shows like One Step Beyond and the Outer Limits. What ever happened to those shows? And lets not forget Rod Serling's Night Gallery. Nice!!!
