Mositure on Windows - Moisture on windows that may flow to window sills and may cause molds form

Last year, it was around early November when our window panes started to get moisture. This year it has started already and it is only September. I am going to be tired from wiping the windows with cloth so water does not flow to our window sill and later cause molds to form. I already read from some web sites that in cases like this, the airconditioning/heating system has to be redesigned/redone. Unfortunately, it is too costly. Does anyone have recommendations on how to prevent or even just to minimize the moisture from accumulating on the windows. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

If you have a small fan that you can run occasionally, it will help. Any other way of providing air circulation should help, too. Moisture on the window glass is caused when the warm, moist air of your home hits the cold air of the glass, so keeping an even temperature will help (by air circulation), as well as minimizing the amount of moisture in the house. Cooking, bathing, cleaning and so on, all add to the moisture in the air.

I forgot - you might try caulking or sealing around the windows, too. That will help even up the temperature somewhat.

I honestly don't know how to stop it. I know I get moisture on some of the windows is because we run a warm mist vaporizer in our house. But we also have very old windows and a heating system too. I have not heard that the heating system can cause this problem. Eitherway we can't afford new windows nor a new heating system. I'd love to but you know just paying for everyday expenses is tough enough let alone for something that costly.

wow it must be real cold there. I like this kind of weather but I guess it will spoil the window sills and and all. so you have to keep wiping. Or else keep a plastic down on the sill and then put a towel or some cloth so that water droplets don't fall on the sill directly. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
