my question about unionbank's eon card

hi there guys I just wanted to ask how unionbank applies the "1 year no transaction penalty" I saw in their fees that if you do not have any transactions for a year they will charge you with 200php a month right after you become inactive for a year. But I am no longer planning to use my eon card and it is just 3 months old. I figured I should use another card which can be more convenient for me to use. Will they send a billing statement in my home if I do not pay them the 200 a month? Anyone here who has experience being inactive for a year with their eon unionbank card here in mylot?
