Do men rib each other over clothing sizes?

I'm just wondering... recently I feel like I was the target of some jokes about clothing sizes. I can't figure out why it seems to be okay to mention sizes if you are 'average' sized, but if you are small, people will make comments as if you're boasting about it. I'm not boasting about it! Should I LIE? LOL! Do you think men receive the same attitude or treatment from other MEN about their clothing size? To be honest, I don't think men discuss that really at all.

i am with you. i don't think men sit around talking about their pants and shirt sizes!! it's so silly to even have such a conversation. We should always be finding a way to build each other up and never tearing each other down

They don't! Why does it matter so much to women?

Most men don't know what size they are anyway. Why would anyone want to make fun of someone's clothing size anyway? I have commented on an awful pattern jumper or a nice suit; but the size is immaterial. Do women know what size their friends take?

Maybe if we share it. I don't mind sharing my size, telling my age, etc lol. Some people do. You've been chatting with me for awhile here though, by now you know I'm one in a million lol. I think women feel more pressure to be a certain size than men. Do I know why? No, not really.

Haha! I have never thought about it before. But now that you mention it I do not think I have ever heard guys making fun of each other because of the size of their clothing. I'll have to ask someone! lol

It just surprised me when I was forced to think about it. I know men tease each other about all sorts of things, but most of the time it gravitates more towards women and sports (or how good they are at sports). They may also tease each other about their weight but I don't think it extends to what size they wear lol.

I have heard men refer to another man as being a big man. However, I've never seen a man say something like "Oh my God, can you believe that he wears as size 42 waist!" or something like that. For men, I don't think that they are nearly as concerned about their clothing sizes as women are. There might be some poking that is done in fun, but I don't think that it is something that can make men feel as bad as women so often feel about their size.

I have a lot of female male friends but i haven't heard them talking about their sizes or making a fuss about it. I really think they don't care about that at all. I belong to size small but i'm not revving about it. It's not something to really boast about. What's with the size anyway? I saw women in medium size and they're very pretty and i find them sexy.
