I saw a joke on FB about this but it was really pertaining to something else. I was wondering though. Those that have full body tats, why would they bother to sit out in the sun to get a tan. I mean, doesn't the tan go unnoticed cause of the tatts they have? Or am I just being ignorant? (Sorry I thought it was just an interesting question) I don't know anyone with a body full of tatts though, from head to toe do you? Interesting though.

I don't know anyone with full body tatoos either. But the skin will still become tanned around the tats. And sometimes just being out in the sun is soothing and relaxing. It is not good for the skin however. And I use towelettes now so I don't have to be in the sun at all.

so it's said that the sun isn't good for the skin, but we do need some vitamin d in our system other than taking supplements. i try to get out there for at least 10 minutes per day in the sun, minus the mosquitoes that hinder that and this summer when i had the surgery.

We don't have to be out in the hottest part of the day when the sun could be bad for us. Everything in moderation is a good rule to live by.
