Wrong Estimation

Estimating a person with his appearance is not a good thing, we must estimate a person based on his skills and talent. Don't under estimate any one, we don't know who is having what kind of talents. Some times this kind of under estimation from others will motivate the people to achieve some thing in their life. A small boy near to my house is doing 4th standard in a private school, he is not good in studies and always get poor marks, some of his relatives suggested his father to admit him in a normal school, since he is studying very poorly and his father is paying a lot of fees for his education. All his relatives thought that he is not deserved for a good school. But his father have faith with his son and hope surely he will get good marks and study well. This kind of under estimation made a change in the boy and he studied very hard, as a result he got first mark in the class in the quarterly exam. Now his father is very happy and the relatives felt shame. Each and every one is unique and have lot of talents and skills lies within them. Some time people don't know about the real value of a person and under estimate him based on his personality or simplicity. Our appearance don't show our real skills and talents. Mostly persons with simple appearance will have a great talent. Lot of living examples are available for this..

while we must not judge a book by its cover, first impressions still last. we might change our views on someone if we see that someone more often. however, if we do not see any improvement, that impression will stick to the person. just like your neighbor. i guess they did not see any outward signs that the kid would achieve that's why they got that negative impression. sometimes what is inside would reflect on the outside. it is only with the kid that he made this impression to his advantage.

in some cases, we could use a bit of criticism for us to realize things. unfortunately though, that other times, criticism pulls us further down. anyway, i congratulate your neighbor, that kid. pretty inspiring.

Hi friend, yes, he got his inspiration from the negative words, so this kind of under estimation will become a motivation.

Did you know that Albert Einstein did poorly in high school and he was one of the greatest minds in the world. The english word you are looking for is judging, we say don't judge somebody by their appearance.

Hi friend, yes, Einstein is really a great person. Most of the leaders have some draw backs in their school and college days, but they have self confidence and achieved a lot in their life with it

That's right, we should not judged a person especially based on his appearance or weaknesses...because we do not know yet what his capabilities are and we might feel shame.

Hi friend, you are right, this kind of wrong estimation lead us to get shame. As i mentioned in that story, we don't know about the real capabilities of a person until they proved it

I really agree with this statement and we shall not underestimate anyone. Every one has a talent, skills and special power hidden their selves and just waiting for the right time to be discovered. Even the disabled person sometimes are gifted with talents than the able people around them. Let's not be judgmental so we won't be judged as well.

Most parents know very well if their kid is able to learn. Your example has nothing to do with estimating a person based on his skills. The skills of the boy might be great, it's more the question if the school is creative enough to teach him in the way he is understanding how or what. We all have a different way of learning. This also depends on the fact if we use our left or right part of our brains. Those who use the left side of their brains more will easily learn by seeing it (3 times generally speaking) and copying (the way everybody once learned everything). Schools seldom work that way now a days. If you don't understand the modern way of teaching it doesn't mean your are stupid, less intelligent, not able to learn of have less skills or are less talented!

Hi, You are right.we must estimate a person based on his skills and talent. Every person has some special skills or talent. Someone is very good in studies but someone can be very good in drawing and paintings. He can make use of talent and become successful. We can not judge others by their outer look. We have to judge them by taking into consideration their skill or talent.

Hi friend, each and every one is having some uniqueness and talents, we must estimate them based on it. Physical appearance is not a factor to judge a person
