Scammers are not only in online , they are quite common in offline too. We must be very careful with them. Every day we meet some new people in our day to day life and some of them are cheats, we don't know anything about the strangers .We must avoid contacting the stranger unnecessarily for any help. Yesterday i went to bank for some purpose, there i saw a girl is helping an old man for filling his check. At first i think the girl is really helping him, after some time i found that she is cheating the old man. The old man was uneducated and borrowed some money from the girls mother and he is giving that money from his bank account. He don't know how to fill the check, so he is requesting the girls help for filling the check. The old man borrowed 1000 rupee from the girl's mother, but the girl is filling for 10,000 rupee in the check in words as well as numbers. The old man don't have the ability to read the words, but he find out the numbers and asked it for the girl, but she compromising him that the last two digits is for paise, at last the old man come to me and told about this issue, i found that the girl is cheating him and told the real fact to him as well as the bank staff, after this incident the girl went away quickly from that place. I wonder why this kind of people scamming the innocent people? God never forgive this kind of scammers. Do you ever saw this kind of cheating activities in your life? What will you do if you saw them? Will you help the innocent people?

I have once been scammed in the mall. I wasn't aware of those kinds of activities yet at that time. and like most of us are hoping to earn something, I guess I was naive to just fall into their trap. To make the story short, I lost about $200 because I was misinformed about how the insurance they offered me would be paid.

I was made to believe that the annual fee can be paid in 3 months and not to be charged in one payment. When I checked with the credit card company, the insurance company charged me the whole amount. I was really furious coz they have told me that I could pay the whole amount in 3 monthly installments. I know that there is no way for me to have the money back from the credit card company, so what I did was I went to the main office of the insurance company and demanded that my signed contract be terminated immediately coz I was no longer interested in continuing with the policy. After a few months, I heard from the news that there had been numerous complaints about that company about not paying their plan holders.

There are really people who sometimes take advantage on the weaknesses of some. Scamming is common specially in document transaction, either in the government or private sector. People who follow righteousness must be vigilant and aware of these scam, be observant of the acts of people whom you suspect having weird actions or wrongdoings.

I congratulate you on telling the bank so they can stop that transaction, she should be arrested for that. I have not seen it here but it goes on. There is an organization that you call called crime stoppers and you don't even have to say your name only what the crime is that you know about. This is good because criminals are dangerous and some people are afraid to let them know that they were the one who told on them.

Oh wow, how could she do that. you did the right thing here. I would have done the same. One incident happened with me. I am a Forever Living Product member and just because my hubby's boss wife was into it she sponsored us. So there were meetings monthly and i used to meet people who are old in the system, so i met the members. Now one day I go to buy the products for one of my customer and there was this man who had come from other state and was in the meeting since he is old member and keeps traveling. I was there at the counter to buy and i had removed the money i have to pay. So this guy sees my money and tell me to sit at the table so that he can give me the tips to have good sales of the product. I was just about to fill the form to get my products. I told him that i was there at the meeting, i got all the points and I do not have time to sit here because it was getting dark and i have some work to do. So this guy tells that it will take a minute,. there were two other people at the counter too. I took my money and the form i fill to get the products. So now i sit at the table and put all what was in my hand, the money, form and my wallet. Now this man is telling me go and get more forms to fill the products which i want. I told him these are the forms and I already have it. So I tell him to tell me the tips he was talking about. he goes and tells me what I already know and I told him that I already know what you are telling. He then sent me to get the forms and i went because I have no time for his crap. i just wanted to see what is there in the form that he cant show me with the ones I have because they were all same form. When I get back to the table this fellow had taken my money and i told him that the money is missing and he said check at the counter and here and there. I saw him take my money. Now I am still sitting at the table and i can see he has nothing to explain and what all he was saying was just repeating things and i notice his other and that he is not keeping on the table. Slowly slowly he slid the money in his shoes and I have seen with my own eyes. Gosh what a liar. Now I said I need to buy these things and my hubby will be very mad at me because i lost the money. So now what he does, he is telling me that he can give his money to me and I have to go to the hotel room to get it. I knew his intention by now and I said I am not going anywhere and I need the money badly since my customers were waiting and I have no more money with me. So he opens his wallet and give a how much I lost in his eyes. I know I have not lost but he only took it from me. He said I can return him in some time because he had to buy some things.. He steals my money and shows sympathy and wants to take me to his hotel room. I don't know with how many ladies he is doing this and they are falling in his trap. I knew he is not good person when i met him before but since i have not to deal with him in anyway that is why i never bothered. but what he did to me I did not expect. I never saw his face again and he dare not ask me anything now. I did not tell hubby because he knows the fellow and he used to come to office sometimes because of boss's wife. So hubby would have slapped him there and then. This fellow acts rich and all and does this. stays in a cheap hotel and travels in bus. I knew he was talking crap in the first place in the meeting. So there are scammers like this who are offline scammers. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead

Scam on the Internet could be less, if the virtual processors would like to introduce protection against it (such as a PayPal dispute inside one month). I fooled with HYIP programs for several hundred dollars. AlertPay after dispute returned just 30%, LibertyReserve nothing. Only users can do something. Should be used only true virtual money, which have protection.

It's very frustrating to know that there dishonest people out there and they will do anything to get what they want..Unfortunately the old man was one of the person who got scammed..Scammers can be of any age, gender, height, and if you're not careful or cautious you could fall into their trap. The most common are the ones that happen online and steal your credit card information.. One time after my husband and i got out of walmart, a guy approached us with a cart trying to sell my husband a designer jeans..The jeans typically cost $400 dollars if you buy it retail and this guy was selling it to him for $50..We didn't want to tell him to buzz off because he could be armed or something..Anyway, we found out that he was working for this guy who happened to snatched a credit card online and he is using the card to pay for these goods..He was honest enough to tell us it about it but we can't of course support it..We said goodbye to the guy without the designer jean.

Beware, scam everywhere - Beware, scam everywhere. Be vigilant and have an open and critical mind
Scammers some in different forms. On the web or even in our neighborhood. I pity those victims, for they are so helpless. On the part of the perpetrators, they are so witty and wise, maybe they don't have money of their own, that's why they resort to that activity, benefit of the doubt. But they must be punished, that's for sure. Thta's why I'm ding my best to be vigilant, investigate on things that I'm in doubt on things especially when it comes to money. Hard earned money should be spend well and protected. Thanks
