Hello VP
It was true that EC was for sale, and admin also accepted this thing.. Just yesterday I got (I guess this email sent to all members, so check yours) email from admin that site was for sale, and now they have decided not to sell it and instead of selling they are going to improve it more and more by giving new features. So for now I don't think it is going to be sell, so same admin for us.

Anand, i think that email is delivered to my spam folder, so i don't have the ability to check it. It will be good if they pay through paypal, it is really hard for us to transfer the MB money

No Anand, i am in need to create a new bank account for this purpose as my bank don't support the swift now i am not interested in starting another account. I invested some of my MB money in microtasks to create some tasks
yes dupremo, you are right, he don't have the ability to pay Indians via paypal, it is really a great disadvantage of this site

It is true, and not a rumour: http://flippa.com/2804995-expertscolumn-com-content-community-revenue-share-w-authors-growing-traffic
The auction closed at $6,100, which was clearly not enough, so it has been relisted.

Looking closer (I am not that familiar with Flippa) it seems that the auction was relisted but was then closed 17 days ago. Whether the owner will accept (or has accepted) the bid of $6,100 is not clear.

So this site is sold to a new person. Who is the new admin? Is he also from India? Thanks for the useful link provided by you.

This article: http://reviews.wikinut.com/ExpertsColumn-is-For-Sale%3A-To-Whom-It-Will-Be-Sold/1kol-lhn/ says that the owner was expecting to sell it for $300,000. I would have expected him to have put a reserve price on the auction far in excess of $6000, so my guess would be that he hasn't sold it yet.
The article goes on to say that the site will only be sold if the new owner (whoever that is) agrees to continue it in the present format.

Hi Vidhyaprakash, there was an email sent by the admin that the sale for Expertscolumn was off.
That means nobody can pay the price that the owner wants.
I think it is a good sign that the owner of Expertscolumn is making much more money than we expected.
If he grows the site for a few more years, he can sell for more money in the future, and perhaps big buyers will be interested.

Good to hear about this, but as an Indian i don't have the ability to get payments in paypal, which is a great disappointment for us. Anyway i will be happy if big buyers get this site and paying to Indians via paypal
