to fill the questionnaire when doing survey?
sometimes I just can't answer the question that they gave me
so I just lie or answer based in my approach estimate
How about you?

Are these paid surveys? Well, in any case, there are sometimes questions which I really can't answer but I need to in order to move on to the next. I'm referring to online surveys. So when this happens, I hazard a guess. Well, it's sort of not answering truthfully, yes.

yep, guessing or analysing then giving your best guess is how i would describe it, too. i joined a survey site last month and i qualified for a survey about detergent. but it was so long and hard to understand so i decided to stick to the variant i like best and answer as quickly and consistently as possible. at the end of the survey, they asked for feedback so i wrote that i'd rather receive surveys in english next time.

I guess it is cheating, Ifa225, no matter how well we try to justify it. For my part, it was intentional since I knew if I didn't put an answer, the survey ends and I wouldn't get credited for it. Is it okay? Call me a hypocrite but I think it's not okay. Cheating is cheating, no matter how small the action was. But of late, I refrain from guessing.

I don't think that anyone can say that they tell the truth every time that they fill in something on the internet because it is not that simple. I don't remember telling any major lies on anything that I've filled in, but sometimes you don't have a choice because they options that you're given don't cover what you would like to say. So sometimes when you have to say how often you do something I have to tell them a little bit more or less depending on what the options are, but that isn't really lying because it is something that cannot be helped.

Hi ifa
Long back, in 2008 when I had just started walking (you know I was ill and on bed for 8 months that year), I wanted to try everything from where I could earn. So during those small phases, I also tried some Surveys. Most of these were from US and other countries and were country specific. As I did not know much about the ways of life there, there were times I did make up. Yes, sometimes when googling failed, I had to lie to complete. Though I never liked it. Good that today, I do not do any of lie telling anywhere on the internet, though sometimes I still lie.
