Dear friends Mylotters. Today, Sunday, October 7, 2012, I feel much better than the other mornings. Maybe the fact that last night I fell asleep around midnight (unfortunately typically I am usual to fall in deep sleep, only at 2.00 AM!). I woke up this morning at 8:30 AM and I was in good spirits, I had, and I still want to do many things. Among these also help my mother with the housework. I believe, and this is just my personal point of view, if I want to get up so every morning, I have to take the habit of going to sleep earlier in the evening (maximum at midnight and not later!).

I agree, if we go to bed early , we feel very refreshed and light in the morning. I experienced it. When ever woke up early and feel the difference, i think it should be like that, i should follow it every day. But i never follow.

alberello We need roughly 8 hours sleep. On account of iT industry many have accepted sleeping for 6 to 7 hours . But you must have sound sleep. some may get sound sleep after listening dramas/stories/music. I think about good times and God to get good sleep. In India we believe that if we drink milk one may get good sleep. Horlicks also ok. Also we must do more physical work-- walking/work related to household. --like cleaning, sweeping, washing, etc.

The fact is that even if I go to sleep, for example, at 2.00 am, woke up at 10.00am however I slept 8 hours. The point of the matter is that in this way still I still feel tired. Instead, however, sleeping 8 hours, but going to bed at most around midnight, I wake up around 8 or 9 am, more rested and more motivated.

It really is good to wake up in the morning when you had enough sleep the night before. From the time I left my country, I have been having irregularities in my sleep. Plus the fact that my roommate is an insomniac, it has affected me badly too. But last night, i was too tired, I fell asleep before midnight but woke up at 10am in the morning. It was late but i felt better that i woke up in the morning instead of the afternoon.
