Hi aabuda! Perhaps you need to take additional energy drink and vitamins. Sometimes we cannot choose the schedule for our work or the length of time we have to devote for our work. But it's good to know you can still participate here. Have a nice day!

That's the reality of being an employee. If we don't have work or job we complain. If we have too much we also complain. Better to eat healthy foods and sleep well on your extra time. That job will not continue until the end of time. That's temporary I think. Just wait for the update from your Boss, if all your jobs are not anymore consistent. They will give you time to relax. I did that also to my staff. Do what you can and never complain. You are lucky you have work. It's not easy to find job nowadays.

I don't know how you do it because I would think that you would have to get some rest in between. I understand that the job that you have requires you to be there as often as you can and it requires that you keep of the work load, but it does sound very stressful.

hi there aabuda, with regard to your topic, well better take the extra care for your self. have a daily dose of vitamins plus eat a lot of foods that rich in iron so you won't be having a chance to have an anemia. aside from that, take at least a glass of milk for a much strong stamina. well, having overtime work will definitely have a good and bad effect to our body especially if the sleeping pattern is severely disturb. so, it is best to take a vacation leave after the thorough overtime that you are working on. after all, it is better to do the work if you are healthy otherwise, you will not have any strength to do if you are weak.

Hi, aabuda! As you describe it, it seems a real hell. I know what means to work without days off and several hours a day. I have a full time job but I need to make additional work at home and the last three months were really hard. But money I get still are not enough. I hope that at least your salary compensates the extra efforts you make. And you deal with financial matter! How many "peak seasons" do you have per year? My mother was an accountant and I remember that they had similar moments at the ends of every three months. I wish you a good rest after this rush! Take care!

It is not good to work too hard - as the saying goes, on the deathbed, who says "I wish I had spent more time at work"?? Taking supplements and energy drinks sounds reasonable, but it is better to eat well, drink a lot of water and do regular exercise - you can't survive on supplements. Make sure you get a proper amount of rest otherwise you will be ill and won't be able to work. 12 hour days are all very well in the short-term, but if you do it too often, it is bad for your long-term health, and your family life or social life.

Yes, this is so exhausted for you to work for a long time everyday. You hardly have your own free time and soon you are so tired and you need to fall asleep. I hope you will have a break soon. Hopefully your company will realize that it shall be the time for the employees to relax so that they can work better.

What do you do during your lunches as I have read a lot of recent business studies that top executives are napping during breaks as they work 16 hour days and then still have after hours work etc to complete. I know how you feel as I work 10 hours at the office and come home and then tend to work for another hour or three at least depending on what projects I am currently working on.

I have experienced that before, it comes with the season. The quarter end is near, as well as the year end so a lot of reports and analyses must be made for a lot of purposes, ranging from management decision making needs to meeting the requirements by the government, like for taxes. Just take it easy, and mylot a bit when you have a spare minute or two. It helps to take your mind off work even for a few minutes just to refresh. Most importantly, try not to get sick, take vitamins and take lots of fluids.
