Do you add duplicate or multiple entries to your interests?

I was scrolling through the list of television programs to add to my interests, and I noticed that many of them are repeated. There were numerous entries for NCIS, Whose line is it anyway and numerous others. It is difficult to decide whether to add each individual listing or simply choose one.
If an interest appeals to you do you add each entry and end up with a cluttered list of interests, or simply pick one and chance missing discussions posted under another listing for that interest?

This is one of the things I would really like to see changed on mylot. There are too many duplicate interests. This results in confusion and lack of organization. I do have a number of similar entries added in my interests for the simple reason that I would not like to miss any good discussion in that particular subject which is one of my favourites.

I agree that there are too many duplicated interests but it is not myLot's fault. All of the interests are user created and apparently many did not check before creating a new interest whether there was already a similar one or not. The result is confusion abd only we, the users, are to blame

I would also like to see this tidied up. I have 4 entries for computer and 2 for internet, but I had no idea how prolific this was until I waded through the television interests. I have just added one for each television interest, but am wary that members may submit to the other ones.

I have added all of the money making interests and all of the interests relating to mylot. I also have two interests concerning life. I believe that that I have not added any of the others if there are duplicates, though I might be unaware of them.
I add interests each time I participate in a topic that is in an interest that I have not already added, regardless of whether it is a duplicate or not. Usually though there is one main interest where the majority of the discussions will appear and the others seem to reappear only when a new users discovers them and starts up a new topic there rather than in the more popular duplicate.

I have never added an interest that I have been offered due to responding to a discussion in that interest, but it may be prudent for me to consider that in future. I often feel reluctant to accept too many interests in case the ones that appeal to me most become buried.

I add some when my lot asks me if I want to. I have never gone to interests and added. But it might be a good idea to do that.
