I live in Southern Oregon and we are often lucky if we get snow by December. I wonder what is coming next. Is the weather strange where you live?

You are so lucky , I have not seen snow . I really want to but I will have to wait . I think having white Christmas is so pretty . I guess climate change is causing it to snow in October , are maybe a early visit from Jack Frost

Hi savypat, Our weather has been much warmer than usual and the trend is continuing with just nine days left in October. Many people are talking about it because it's usually much colder than this by now. Blessings.

this week we are enjoying some above seasonal temperatures which have been quite nice however, the payback time is towards the weekend when it is supposed to be quite chilly. i have heard that we Canadians are in for a hard winter this year meaning lots of cold weather and lots of snow so i imagine your weather will be out of whack as well.

I live in Central Texas and the weather is usually unpredictable but it is getting stranger and stranger. I believe that it is part of the changing weather pattern happening world wide. I have been traveling more than usual and I have noticed the weather is getting stranger wherever I have been going. It may have something to do with global warming or El Nino.

Nothing strange yet but in June, 2011, there was a tornado. Here in Western Mass. It is not the norm for this part of the country. In 1989 17 tornadoes touched down in various places across New England. And there were two in Mass. in 1953 and 1995. The one in 2011 was quite devastating. We are used to very unpredictable weather in these parts but that was pushing unpredictability to the limit. Hopefully we won't have anything strange happen this year.

Our weather is unpredictable all year round, we can have all the seasons in one month! This year we have had an extraordinary amount of rainfall during the Summer months. I put it down to Global warming, flooding has been terrible in August and September, with people flooded out of their homes and rivers bursting their banks. It is however rare to get snow until December. I also remember guaranteeing that we'd have a white Christmas, back in the seventies. Now I can't remember the last white Christmas we had.

Are you actually having snow now? I guess perhaps you will make up for not enough moisture for quite a while. Each year the seasons seem to have minds of their own and come and go as they please.

I live in the southern hemisphere and we are in Spring now. It should be nice and warm. These last days we had a lot of rain and when I looked out this morning to check what clothes should I wear, I could see the Andes with snow almost up to my nose. Today we have a resemblance of sun but it doesn`t heat at all. I`ll do my washing tomorrow as I place the clothes at the sun to dry. Is the weather changing, I wonder?

I am sure not looking forward to snow. But we have been having a warm October here so far. We had 70 degrees the last few days. My allergies are still kicking as well. It is almost the end of October and it is quite warm here. I hope it stays mild this winter. I had my share of snow and if I never see it again I would be fine.

Wow, I can't believe it's snowing already. It seems that everywhere the weather acts out of character at one point or another. I live in Florida and so far our weather has been pretty typical. We hardly ever had any cold weather this year, we had a hot summer with rain, and now our weather is just finally starting to change. It's nice and breezy out although it's still hot. This may seem weird but the sunlight is also changing to the type of sunlight we have in our cooler, fall and winter weather. Lol I'm not really sure how to describe it..but I guess the sun just seems brighter without too much heat and humidity. Hopefully I make sense lol

It's autumn, so rain within it sometimes some sun at the moment about 20 degrees and it's getting colder again, about 1 week ago it was nearly freezing at night. I don't think this is strange. Looking back into (weather) history of the past 40 years it all is just repeating itself.

Yes sometimes weather gets messy. In my place weather seems one month faster. Rain starts showering 1 month early. And as a result farmers gets not enough water to plant the saplings of paddy due to lack of rain water.
