I would like to reach on this. Sometimes i feel the game is fixed, that is what we all feel. when the San Beda Red Lions seen committing fouls they aren't called for. but when my Alma Mater's team get a slight thing it becomes a foul. when the coach complained he was give four technical I think the supervisor for the Referees should have apologize too for attempting to fight the coach. that's not fair, he never should have fell for it. though it's been years since I graduated from that school, it's rare for them to reach the Championship and finals. not a referral link.. http://ph.sports.yahoo.com/news/alas-ncaa-im-sorry-173417051--spt.html

I also felt the same way during the championship game between Ateneo and UST. If you are watching the news, Coach Pido of UST was also given a warning by the referees for his attitude every time one of the UST players acquired a "foul". It is really disappointing whenever the teams we are rooting for loses the "battle of their lives", especially when we think that the game was not fairly played. There are posts circling the Internet that says there are times when Alumni of Ateneo pays the referees in order to secure a win. Though it is not yet proven, I really hope that this is not true. The universities included in NCAA and UAAP are prestigious school. Having said that, people affiliated in these universities should behave accordingly - their actions should always be judged by their morals. I wish in the future seasons of NCAA and UAAP, a school would win because they deserve to win and not because of some unfair game play.

Hello Simplepleasures, their actions prove that they can be corrupted. it's not fair for other schools that worked so freaking hard. they deserve to be in the title, who ever it maybe. corruption between the NCAA and UAAP should not be tolerated! some one needs to get up there and stand against these corrupt officials.

That would be a hard thing to do though - standing against these corrupt officials since there are no evidences that prove our claims. The worst thing that could happen is the one that exposed the said corruption may be sued for libel. Life is indeed unfair. :|

Refereeing is receiving a lot of questions in the sporting world now. A referee's decision is always final, unless of course, proven wrong now by a reviewing of the the videos. Officiating is not an easy task, but you are right, many times, we do feel that the referees had been bought, the games rigged. Sigh, really, for the sports world is one fascinating aspect mankind should give more attention with. It is the only field wherein we can exert physical effort and compete healthily. I really wish the officials and the referees be as fair as they are expected to be.

Hello eileenleyva, this is the first actually that I have seen them act so strangely, the players do their best this time. unlike in the previous years were we couldn't find away to sneak in and then doesnt make to final four. this time, they made the team work and effort to win the second game. sad to know that some referees are being bought and i hate it to boot. It wasn't much entertaining if you notice that it's a bit rigged in your eyes.
