Did you like to watch Gilligan's Island when it was on TV in the 60's and 70's? Did you have a favorite epidode?

This was one of the shows that I loved to watch when it originally aired. Sadly, several cast members have passed and I miss seeing them; however, they lived long lives. My friends and I would talk about whether we are Mary Ann or Ginger's. We all felt like we were Mary Ann's.

Ginger was just too glamorous for the average girl to identify with. Mary Ann was an ordinary all American girl and I think most of us identified with her.

Yes, I used to watch Gilligan's island and really liked the programme. Surprisingly I cannot remember a single episode. It was a long time ago and I had forgotten all about the programme until I saw this discussion, but even so I would have expected to be able to recall a few episodes at least.

Yes, I used to enjoy watching Gilligan's Island when I was a teenager. But I don't really remember an episode. I recently bought the movie, at a lawn sale, which came out later (in the 90's?) but I just couldn't get into it and never watched the whole thing.

I didn't enjoy the movie nearly as much as the episodes of the series. My boyfriend and I used to watch it every day after school when we were teenagers. Gilligan was one of our favorites, and after 27 years of marriage he still is!
