The Difference between Similar and Duplicate?

I wish i never made this topic. but so to speak i guess we need to have a talk on this. there was no comment in one response of my topics because I was told that it was a duplicate and a link of the discussion was posted. I did not respond because they're gonna report it anyway and have it deleted. but when i look at the title, it wasn't the same, except with one word in the title that's similar but still different contents even what's inside of the discussion. I don't know when the topic will be deleted but, would have been better if the topic was reported to the admin to have it deleted instead of telling it to my face that the topic was what you seemed duplicated? and then link the discussion that seemed like a duplicate. If it's just similar as one of the responder stated, then why it is assumed that it's duplicated? Would have been better if the topic was REPORTED and i would see my mail that it was deleted because it was a violation of so called duplicated discussion. however, there was a topic that i made and was deleted because it was though deemed duplicated. I don't really tell the veterans to their faces that they violated a rule and instead i tell the admin because i know they would feel offended if i do. sometimes it just gives me the reason to stay on my turf along w/ mylotters in my country...making discussions that has only have to do with my country
