Last Oct. 26, one of our high school batchmates, arrived from the USA.
Prior to her coming home, i have already coordinated the outings that we will be having when she arrives. I contacted my batchmates, based here.
Thus, if you can go to my photos, you will see the places we went to.
You are free to comment there my friends and i think you will also earn also when you do.
We really enjoyed our bonding time. See, after 35 years, we are much closer to each other. Everybody enjoyed it.

I will check on your photos simplyd!
I like attending get togethers and reunions with my batchmates. Our batchmates, classmates had been part of our lives.
Tomorrow, I will meet my batchmates in highschool. That is in a school where I only take my first year in Higschool but I am glad I'm still invited though I havent had the chance to know them well before.

Sorry my friend, i didn't see this post of yours. I just deleted my photos. But at any rate , i am attaching a sample of the photos for you to see.
You have to attend the reunion, because it's really fun. You will discover that after all the years most of you have become closer. Those who have much shares a lot, to compensate for others who cannot.

Thanks for sharing! :)
I had asked in your photos where was that salo salo retaurant? I had commented there maybe I'll introduce myself at that restaurant that we are friends here in myLOt, hehe.
My husbands complains that there are so many reunions that I attend. That is gradeschool, college and 2 highschool reunions. But thats the only time that I do have some ME time. I am glued to my seat here at home/business always. But he allows me anyway..

Okay, I viewed the 12 of the love pics and also left comments on 3. Now for the discussion... I am quite happy to see that you and your friends still are close together. Right now, I dont have funds, but if ever I have them and it is possible for me to visit your place, I would love to visit you dear friend. I have a list already of my extended family at Philippines and it would be a real treat to travel with you all to that church and volcano...
personally, I dont have any friends visiting me of late for friendship only. Though some do come to me for other reasons.

At least you have seen some of the nice places here in our place, Legazpi City, Bicol. sids.
I regretted not having been in contact with my batchmates for the earlier years. I thought, doing so would entail a lot of expenses on my part. But i was proven wrong, because usually when we go out, it's at the expense of those who initiated the invitation.
Like this occasion, my batchmate was from USA. Her money is 40 times our money, so she foot all the bill. The next day , it was one of the batchmates' expense, since she too is a retired flight stewardess from US now back here, hence she has more than enough money for herself so she always foot the bill.
Don't worry sids, even if we don't see one another in person, we will get to know one another through pictures we can post here.
And maybe someday, when my daughter has finally completed her medical studies, i can already afford to visit my mylot friends even from abroad.

I can feel how you feel, seeing some one after long 35 years, hugging him/her is so exciting; i completed my high school in 1962, but since 1975, we organised a meet on first Sunday of December every year, my class mates come with the family, kids and grandkids

Really, professor. That's nice that you and your classmate have a yearly get together, including your families.
Doing that would indeed entail a lot of preparation. Though i think, no one in our group can handle that yet, because most of us have full time jobs.
Thus, getting together by ourselves, becomes a respite from our works.

I can well imagine that all sorts of feelings welled up in your minds when you had a reunion after 35 years and It took your thoughts back to the days in high school.Maybe you each have grown clean out of knowledge.

Actually, when i first attended an occasion which was a videoke night at Gabbi's also (like that in one of the photos i posted) , they all hugged me. It was the first time i saw them all and so are them with me.
Then, i realized even if they are not my group of friends in high school, we are all now.
Actually, the boys are the classmates of some of my batchmates in elementary which is the same school in which we went to high school, but it's exclusive for girls then, so the boys went to a different school.
Yet, we all become so close now. Like brothers and sisters.

That is to say, your high school batchmates are all girls.I guess now the high schools are all mixed schools there.Yes,sometimes we know our classmates better than we know our brother or sister.

And to think that back in HS we weren't of the same group of friends. And those guys are some of my batchmates' elementary classmates, but not in high school, since HS is exclusive for girls then.
It's indeed amazing that we are so much closer now.

That is fun..i am glad to hear that you still have the contact numbers of your friends even after the many decades after you graduated. Not many can do that.. some even lose contact just a few years, when they are already in college.

Actually , thanks to the effort of one of our batchmates, a doctor, because it was she who initiated searching for the names of our batchmates at FB. Thus, through FB everyone got contacted.
Me, they weren't able to trace me at FB because i have a fictitious name. But when i accidentally met one of them, i told them my FB account, thus i was now with them in their outings.

You should attend those reunions , my friend.
I only decided to show myself on reunions this year. Although i wasn't able to attend the grand reunion, i was accidentally seen by one of our classmates while shopping in a mall . She persuaded me to join whatever gathering our batch would have.
Thus, when our batchmates had a gathering at a private videoke bar room, i went. That started my occasional outings with them. I regretted not having shown myself for the past years, because i missed a lot of enjoyable events which i saw on the batch FB page.
Now, i see to it that i attend every gathering of the group, whenever i have time.
