To buy another USB(flash drive) or not...

what do you think. I already have a 4GB that is more than 3 years old..and i am thinking if i should buy an 8GB one since they have become cheaper than the the 4GB i bought years ago. My father might even use my usb when he watches the movies i download.. What do you think ,i need some advice.

If you're saving lots of files, especially movies and pictures, I think your 4GB flash drive wouldn't have enough space eventually. What I would suggest is for you to buy a portable external hard drive instead. They usually come with a 500GB or 1TB storage. Use this for storing all your files, and use your flash drive to carry around with you.

Beamer has a point lady. You can buy external hard drive instead of a flash drive. Besides it is not advisable to save our files on USB because it can easily be corrupted. It is only good for transferring of files from one place to another.

It is always good to go for an extension. With an 8GB pen drive you can store a lot of information. Since, your father is also using your pen drive, it is recommended to buy one with more memory.

What do you need the 8GB for? If you really have things you need to save then get one. If it is just for security then maybe you need to find it elsewhere. If this is actually cheaper why don't you already have one?

Just a question, why would you buy a new one when in fact you can still use your existing 4GB flash drive? Anyways, your father can just borrow your flash drive whenever you are not using it.

I think you need to buy a new one, there's a lot of cheap USB nowadays yet very durable. I bought new 16GB USB last month because my husband asked me to download some movies and TV series which he can watch every weekends.

it depends on your need, if you always carry big files with your flashdrive its better to get a bigger flashdrive, as for me its better to get external harddrive since its become cheaper and larger in capacity these days

Well if you have to save more and big files that your 4GB cannot accomodate so better but the 8 one but if there is bithing to save and just a back better not to buy to save moneya and avoid spending.
