You have set the rules in your home. You are determined to implement your rules when one day you found yourself wrong about your own terms. For the sake of consistency, shall you impose your rules? If you will give up your off the bit rules, are you not violating your consistency?

hi ! what you said is correct. I almost agree with you. it needs strong will power and honesty to follow a given set of rules. but rules are for good. so that things are in place and everything is systematic . I would say its kind of violating the rules. try to follow them as much as you can. its for own good.

hi! I agree, rules are for the benefit of everyone. However there are times that our own set of rules do not really help as what should be done? there should also be a humbleness on our part to give it up.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes i completely agree to your point that it is very difficult to maintain consistency in life. No doubt it is almost impossible to be perfect in life but we can try our level best to achieve consistency and perfection in our lives. We should try to avoid doing such things that would raise fingers on us and who on earth has followed all rules perfectly. It is very hard to be ideal and perfect. What say?

yes my friend it is very hard to live in a high idealistic stance. we cannot be perfect but at least we should try to be consistent as much as possible.

I absolutely, we must be brave and humble enough to admit that we commit mistakes. This is better than imposing rules that does not work at all...have a nice day as well.

not for the sake of consistency, for the sake of family unity, stick to your own rules. if you do it for the sake of consistency, you'd keep looking over your back, wondering when other members would start finding fault with them. do it because you want the family to be united and one.

wow, good to hear that. Not for the sake of consistency but for the sake of the family. It's better to break your rules sometimes than to see your family suffer the consequence of not considering the right thing to do.
