Internet memes are all over the place now. I've only learned of this from one of my officemates. She reads a lot of stuff online, maybe that's why she stumbled upon these internet memes, as they call 'em.
I've attached one here, if you'll notice. It's just a fat kid, but the caption makes it funny. There are other kinds, such as the comics where the characters are poorly drawn, and the main focus is humor.
So what do you guys think about these internet memes?

To be straight to the point that some of this humor to me is not humorous. I get it but the way some of it is used to degrade the people or person in the picture is just wrong..
I have seen so many of these that just cut some people to shreds, like the one you have shown. The name of it is 'Fat Kid' then it talks about 'cake or else' I take offense to this in someways.. it is funny in away but yet it degrades the child at the same time. The impression it leaves in the long term isn't good.
Just an opinion..

You do have a point. Although some pictures are from movies and cartoons, people that won't really matter if they're made fun of. The picture I've attached is someone who is not popular so when he finds out about this, I'm sure he'll get pissed off.

I think memes are steadily destroying humanity one lost brain cell at a time. 
lol, okay maybe they're not that bad. Some of them are kinda funny but most of them are kinda stupid. Hanging out with my sister's boyfriend and his friends is like playing "Guess this Internet Meme!" and over time I can slowly feel my IQ dropping. With some people who are so wrapped up in these memes, I have to wonder if they ever step away from the internet.

I think that's the point of most of these memes -- they're so stupid they're supposed to be funny. The creators intended them to be stupid to sound, even intentionally misspelling other words.
