I went to this site called cardstore dot com (Not sure if I'm allowed to put in the .com in the site address) and they had a promotion only for only today to buy any 10 holiday cards for free. I ordered mine! They have a promotion code that I used and it's only for use for today so they won't have them once you try to go there again most likely. I usually miss out alot on these type of offers. I didn't today though. I ordered my ten cards and will be soooo happy when they get delivered! They are even going to mail them for me for free! That saves me over $30. on shipping, postage and cards alone. Wow, I think that was such a good deal. Do you ever get promotions like that? I think that was the best one I have ever found.

I do try and grab freebies whenever possible. It is nice to get something in the mail that is free. When I am in a pinch I go to the dollar store and they sell cards for 50 cents apiece. Usually I order cards from Carol Wright or some of the other magazines that come in the mail. They sell 20-30 cards for something like $5 and a lot of times shipping is free. Can't believe you have spent $30 for only 10 cards there, wherever that is. That is steep to have to pay all the time.

I didn't spend a cent, they were free. Plus they put the postage on them and are mailing them out individually for me as well to the addresses I provided, so that saves me money and postage that way as well. I only have a handful more to send cards to now and they will be sent by me with cards I have already at home and not ordered.

I understand they are free. But you said you saved $30 with this deal. That tells me you have in the past paid that much for just 10 cards before. The reason they are mailing then for free and not sending them to you to mail out is so they can get all the people you freely offered their address to them a way of sending out emails and offers to them too. Companies sell other peoples email addresses in the same manner and you just volunteered your friends and family to get their spam mail for free too.

No I never spend that much on cards. Like you otherwise I have bought alot of them at dollar stores. And paid for the postage in alot of cases to mail them out nless they are for local family. I know they probably do use those addresses and my email for spam sometimes but I just couldn't pass up on the offer. Others are free to do what they want about it. I was happy to get them though. Stop stealing my thunder! LOL!

Good for you, this saves you some money. I love getting deals like this, I was going to dress the brats up and print their picture on a Christmas card to give close friends and family this year. I try to pick up suck deals to save some money.

I did take one photo of my cat and personalize one of the cards I'm giving to my folks. Otherwise all the cards are even all different that I designed. I did make a error on the order too and they refunded any extra I have had to pay due to my own error and not theirs. I accidentally ordered two of the same card and forgot about it making my total of 11 cards but I emailed them about it and this morning I actually got an answer from their customer service! I tried that with two other places recently and I got no answer so that surprised me! Not trying to plug the site but they are really great! If anyone does ever order cards like that in the future I recommend them.

We can buy lovely cards from the dollar stores for half price after Christmas so I can pick up a couple of 10 or 20 packs for maybe 50 cents. I just can't be bothered addressing them and posting them and so I'm usually doing it too late. Living alone and so far from everything makes it easy to think "Oh, why bother?" and of course this will be my first Christmas since Dad's been gone. I just think there will be too much sadness for me to do Christmas this year.
