He broke my food processor

I bought a food processor a few months ago online off Amazon. I got it free through Swagbucks and saving my gift cards.
He broke off the handle from trying to lock it into place. He offered to replace it, but we made a deal since he worked a day for me it would equal the same for the processor.
Now I have something else on my list to replace, and need for my house.

But you could buy the food processor again with the money that you were going to pay your Dad. After all, you had a deal and he`ll give you the money anyway. It`s not as if you had lost it.

Hmmmmm . . . it'd be nice if he could get you a new food processor as a housewarming gift some day!! Do you really need one right now? I bought one for our place a long time ago - and ended up never using it. Since then I've learned to chop fast - ha ha!

It's too bad that he broke your food processor. However, it shouldn't take too long to save up for a replacement; food processors are not all that expensive.
The down side to having all of this stuff saved up before you move in, though, is that you will have to move it all. As someone who has moved repeatedly (with the most recent time having been last week), I know what a pain moving a bunch of stuff can be. That is why we ended up leaving the furniture we'd had in Florida--simply too much hassle and expense to move and store it until we moved into this place.

You know, despite the fact that your father did break something of yours, at least in this situation, this is one of the few times that I can actually say that you are saying something that is positive about one of your parents. It was very kind of your father to offer to replace your food processor for you because he didn't have to do that.
I like the fact that you decided to just call it even with the day that he worked for you because you will be able to buy another with swagbucks before too long and you aren't out the money for his working for you either.

My Dad that is.
I want to get a bread machine as well.
I am currently saving for a plate set (16 pc with plates, bowls, and mugs). I am waiting for my gift card to get in and can get toaster, kettle, and mixer.
