Driving enjoyable because of NPR

This afternoon I had to go to a meeting on the other side of the city, and both there and on the way back, I had such a lovely time listening to NPR that I actually took the side road home so that I could listen to the whole program! I listened to This American Life's exploration of Middle School and also a program about Tuscan, Arizona. I love the variety of content and also how much my curiosity has re-awakened since making the shift towards listening to NPR and local public radio a year ago. I can't imagine having to listen to the same songs and useless chatter that comes from other places. I love my NPR!

When I do listen to the radio while driving, I am always tuned to NPR. I'm not a fan of what passes for music that the other stations are playing. NPR always has interesting radio. On the weekends, I enjoy Garrison Keelors broadcast.
