My mom asked why I am going to early on Saturday for a day out to London. It takes two hours and twelve minutes to get there on a no change necessary intercity train. My mom dress up very warmly because it is going to be a bitterly cold day.
Our train leaves at six something in the morning. I know that we arrive around nine in the morning so we can see a lot of things in one day. I didn't wish to stay overnight because accommodation is very expensive there. On travels overseas with an early flight I have stayed for one night and it has been pricey.
I am taking my disabled son aged five and my daughter aged three. I hope to go to places they will enjoy like a famous toy shop and a memorial park with a play ship. I wish to see favorite sights like the River Thames, Tower Bridge and Westminster Abbey. Going early I hope will be worth it.
Do you mind leaving very early for a long day out?
can you remember a long day out you have been on?

When I am still working with my Singapore company, I normally wake up extra morning to drive to interstate to see customers. I prefer to start my journey early morning to avoid traffic jam. Moreover the weather is cooling too in the morning. It saves a lot of my time. I find that this way it is more productive!

Yes, you are absolutely wise to start the day early.
In 2008, we was in Malaga, Spain. We decided to visit
an exhibition in Grenada. We find out that there is a
interstate bus which leave around 7am. So we wake up early
and leave our hotel at 6:10am, caught the earliest bus to
the town's bus terminal and buy the tickets to Grenada.
We spend one whole day there and took the last available
bus back. It is truly worth it.

Hey ya dear!
Just like you, whenever we are to travel (even if it takes short or long trip) we usually wanna go while the sun isn't high up and hot yet.. It's also good to maximize the whole day to roaming and looking around.. :D
We always travel to a near city 3 hours away.. We leave our hometown 5-6 so we are able to reach the place 8-9 which we still have the half of the morning to spend..
Coz you see, if we travel later, we would be able to arrive lunchtime! and it means shorter time left for us to look around =(
Again, just maximizing the time =D So move early haha!
