The venue was in the garden having the romantic scene looking on the vie of the wide ocean at the other side. That was great romantic vie of two people exchanging their vows assuring their devoted love with each other. It was almost perfect until the weather change into it's worst stage..It started to rain and the calm sea turns into a unstable state where the loud sound of the waves keep splashing into the shore.Even if the situation becomes bad the event was push through still.Instead of getting disappointed, we just enjoy the moment and wedding turns to be more romantic as we see the rain as the blessing up above.

Hello, Daisy! Well, come rain or shine, weddings just have to happen!
It really makes it more romantic, really.
I remember my sister's wedding last September 2011, at the height of Typhoon Pedring. Do you remember how bad our weather was in Manila? My sister was so worried that her wedding wasn't going to push through coz she also planned to have a Garden reception. She was so tense from morning until she was on her way to the church. There was a black out that time! The wedding was at 3pm and the reception would reach until 8-9pm! Good thing that her wedding coordinators were able to make changes quickly. We were able to move the reception inside the Church's reception hall and also they have found a generator for rent so that we were able to have the whole church lighted. Gladly, only about 10 people wasn't able to make it out of 200 invited guests.
Just like what the priest said during the Homily- the typhoon might have been the beginning of their lives that signifies their strength as one even when rough times come.

Reading your comment makes me remember the wedding I saw on television in the middle of the typhoon. The couple we're really sad but on the contrary because of that rain, their wedding ceremony was being publicized and open to the public. Some admire it for it shows true feelings with each other. They pursued their plan even if it is being hindered with the nature.More romantic for real feelings was really shown.

When you plan an outdoor wedding you need to know what you will do if the weather turns bad. It can be as you say and just enjoy the blessing of the rain. I hope it was a warm rain.

Garden weddings are really great but bad weather really destroy the mood. But Weddings are not about the place as long as they love each other not even weather can stop it. :)

Hi friend, good to hear about this incident. Really it is good and pleasant to imagine this kind of situation. Surely this kind of rain wedding is great, really nature blessed you a lot with the rain and the wedding couples is really lucky to have an unique and different marriage

The exact situation happened to a wedding where our Pastor was to minister the wedding..
Everything was planned and all was thought to be well, when it started to rain.. All the visitors went to the covered hall and who's left by the beach (since it had decorated curtains) was the Reverend and the couple.. The groom was actually crying, he thought the dream wedding of his bride was ruined, but the bride was loving the rain too.. and the fact the 3 of them stayed to had the ceremony going ... =]
Still romantic and very right, it's blessings!!
