Here In The 21st Century....

There is nothing but technological wonder in the World today.
We can speak live and in real time to astronauts on the ISS. This little post of mine is now visible to the whole world. There is now corner of the World that is hidden from the outside. I could be speaking to someone in Chicago or China - Mexico or Manchester.
What does puzzle me though is why can I not get a response from my 14 year old daughter when I send her a text message, when she is less than 3 miles from me?

You are dealing with two of the great mysteries of the Woprld. Firstly she is 14. Old enough to assert her independence but young enough not to want to be too far removed from the reassurance of the parental apron strings. Secondly she is female....nuff said about that!
