What happened to People String?

For the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to use People String, but the browser always just redirects to something else. Is it another site that has disappeared? I never received any notification or anything.

I was not convinced of this said site and hence I did not join it.
Anybody knows whether it has paid people before?
