There are several stores that I consider some of my favorites like the Dollar Tree, Wal Greens and they are all so close to me within walking distance from me and I do walk there sometimes and I am there almost every day and I consider some of the cashiers to be my favorites because I always ,make them laugh or they make me laugh and that is a good thing well the last couple of days ago I went into the Wal Greens and it was all new people I have never seen before and I was like ???? Where did they go? So the next few days I went back in and I saw the one cashier a guy that I always make laugh and I asked him where did you and everybody else go? I came in here the other day and it was like walking into the Twilight Zone l.m.a..o... He started laughing and so was I he said almost everyone was leaving there except the few I know I said well don't you leave to I will have to go back to the twilight zone he he he Do you ever fell that way when you go to a certain store so many times do you miss the cashiers you are used too?

Well, I could say more or less the same thing. Me too, often go shopping for my mother and shops where I go, they are always the same. One in particular called "Eurospin" is a discount food, there is the stuff at the lowest price. I know inside that store almost all, from the director, to the cashier. With the manager's son named Christian, often tell him jokes or aphorisms that I can think of. As long as he is not busy (as often happens), he is willing to listen to me and judge my lines if he likes it or not. In short, I am very happy I also have shopkeepers as  friends!

Me too I love to see a happy and friendly cashier that is very helpful when you can not find something rather than a rude person it helps so much. Thanks for the response and have a nice day.

I do feel the same sometimes (but not always). There are some people that I got used to in my local supermarket, and I don't see them anymore... but it's not like I converse with them too much or I remember every single on of them, just some.

We usually go to small, local stores, so we do recognize many of the people at the area stores. However, we are not at these places every day, so it isn't like we really know these people. For instance, my boyfriend might go into the one bakery two or three times a week, and it is not always the exact same people working.

Yes, I used to make friends with the cashier and the customer service counter staff at the supermarkets and malls. I also make friends with the teller in the bank too. It is good that we established such a rapport because at times it is really useful and helpful. I remembered a few months ago there is this festival card making contest that they put up on the wall for the bank clients to join. I did not know about it until one of the teller inform me. At last I won good prize from there - RM100.00 to be credited to my account!

We could make some connections with people whom we get to communicate often. And if we somehow lost the connection, we would surely feel missing the person. But that is just how life is. Nothing is ever permanent. Even in our own family, we go our separate ways when we grow older and start our own families.

I think it's good to know some of the people were you shop or bank at, because some of them can be very helpful and nice. Sometimes the people leave for different reason, it's nice to know them.

I agree I always like seeing the same people who make our day just by making us laugh when maybe we have had a bad day. Have a nice day.

Yes, at times this waitress / captain in restaurant has elephant memory. Just one time I been there, the next time around they can remembered what I, my wife and son previously ordered. There is one occasion where I look for my wife, they can tell me that we went that way. Fantastic!
