Chelsea secured another bore draw last night against West London neighbours Chelsea.
Rafa has fixed a leak in defence but his strike force has dried up worryingly. Should he get rid of Torres -even though he would never wish to do so.What is the solution?

From what it appears to be, it seems that Chelsea's season is over, yes, not even December starts. It really is sad that such a situation could come about considering the fact that Chelsea was leading the table barely three or four matches ago. It just happened so quickly, one after another, unluckily, I must say, about the result, especially in the Manchester United match. It was a bad decision to sack Di Matteo.
But I don't think Chelsea will throw in the towel yet. With the type of players that they have, they are too good to stay low. A good team does not turn bad overnight. They will come back. Torres will score again. It is just a matter of time. Maybe by then it will be too far to chase the two Manchester clubs, but I have a feeling that they would have a say in the title chase.

Chelsea will start winning games again. Torres will score goals again. These two things are for sure, regardless of who the Chelsea manager is, and that Torres gets to play. Chelsea is a good team with fantastic players like Torres. They can not become like a fourth division team out of a sudden. A temporary drop in performance is normal for any teams. Some lucky teams can still win playing badly. Chelsea just did not have that luck and they lost. So there is no solution needed from Rafa. Just let Chelsea play their normal game like they did early in the season and the win-less crisis will be over. Although it is likely that their season is also practically over.
As long as Roman Abramovich is the boss, the Chelsea manager post will always be a temporary position. It has always been the case since the first day the new boss came. Even if Pep Guardiola were to be the next manager, who dare to say how long will he be last? Remember a World Cup winning manager was not even able to complete a full season.

I think already Rafa is on a shaky ground. He must already be thinking on the enormity of the job that he has taken up. I think he has been brought in only on an temporary basis to rejuvenate Torres. I think once Guardiola is available Chelsea will make a bid for him.
Cheers!
Ram

Maybe they need a change... move a few players around or something. They are better team than that.

Yes, I don't think all te negativativy from their supporters and the media helps either.

I think you can't blame much to the managers, yeah sometimes your tactics don't work on the given day, also we can't say that Chelsea have bad players, but they are all talented and have the ability to perform.
But, it's the owner who has to be blamed. Thanks to his inability to trust in a manager. The manager must be given the time to settle in and learn about the players, but each time a manager fails to give the club a trophy, he's been sacked. Take Carlo Ancellotti's case who was a good manager and even led the club to champions of England but, he's been sacked the next season as Chelsea didn't win the League title and finished second.

I had to look up my dictionary to find the exact meaning for "schizophrenic" :)
It says that schizophrenic is a severe mental disorder characterized by some, but not necessarily all, of the following features: emotional blunting, intellectual deterioration, social isolation, disorganized speech and behavior, delusions, and hallucinations. No. He definitely is not.
I have a feeling that he knows what he is doing. He has a vision for Chelsea which many of us have yet been able to really understand. But it is a fact that after he had taken over Chelsea, he has made Chelsea a first class team with his money and his team has won every significant trophies.
As a boss of a professional football team, he has got a good report card to show although his ways are not always taken in easily nor happily by the fans.

Yes, Abramovich has a lot to answer for. The fans are his customers and will be there much longer than he will be. He does his level best to deny the club success despite setting it up with some great players. Maybe he is schizophrenic?!
