When you are distressed

I always relax with a book to get sleep when I am distressed.I hate doing anything else during that period.This habit I got from my pet dog,because when he get stressed with our cat, he goes to his sleeping basket and enjoys a nap,so when he gets up he is refreshed and forgets his irritation.There are times I am stressed with my work or situations,but still after work,I feel refreshed to face the task.Sleep is a great medicine to soothe your pain and irritation,so if you can enjoy a good sleep to overcome your stress,do it instead of having food or expensive buying spree.Sleep is less expensive,with calming effect on your body and mind.

I also sleep when I feel stressed out. It somehow clear my mind, and so when I wake up, I can address whatever had caused that stress in the first place.

hi, sometimes sleeping can not help me to relax because my mind still keep on thinking about the problem that i have,so sometimes to distress my self i will just listen to music and eat or watch movies,until i will forget my problem and move on.

I can also use some precious hours of nap when I'm distressed. On top of that, an ice cream also instant lifts up my spirits, also iced coffee, macaroni soup and green tea affect me the same way.
