what’s up with her?

We have a supervisor here in our company’s mall, that always don’t approve of the new ones that we hire for E-Bingo & E-Games store. She always would report that they are not performing their duties well as cashiers. As to the employees she complained of , they too reported while crying that they want to be transferred to other store because the supervisor is always angry at them, nagging them even in front of customers. One of them resigned outright, because she noticed that the said supervisor doesn’t like new ones since she only favors the old ones who keeps on committing shortages (they are cashiers) , yet she’s always defending them. SO, we suspect that those shortages were intentional because she too might be part of it. The cashiers were now transferred to Finance yet, she was said to be still nagging them even if she isn’t their supervisor anymore. And the old cashiers has been committing big shortages again . (It's always 1000 pesos and above) They will be met on Monday for an investigative meeting. Let’s see.

I smell something really fishy... seem like something bad is happening in that department... so the administration must take action... supervisors should always act professional with or without customers... and they should never be bias when it comes to employees... That frequent shortage is a serious thing... she could lose her job or worst go to jail if the admin find out that she is behind these... i hope everything turns out fine... and that the new employees be treated well...

Yes, that's true. That's why unknown to her, our IT put additional CCTV to monitor them all. This supervisor was even caught allowing her boyfriend to come into her office and stayed there for a long time. She was given a memo about it. She deserves that.

Yes, we noticed that, so all eyes are on her now.

Hmmm....something smells really fishy in this scenario. Yeah, better to have it investigate. But I hope that the supervisor in question is and will not be part of the investigative team since she is the one in-charge of these cashiers who commit shortages...and rather consistently I might add.

Yes, she isn't part of the investigative panel. Now, the cashiers are not under her already. They are part of finance so she cannot dictate to them anymore. The cashiers who always commits shortages were now assigned as gaming assistants.

Yes, we do smell something fishy too, professor. . That's why the cashiers are now under Finance Dept. so she can't meddle with them. Now, she still would reprimand them . Yes, there are CCTVs there. In fact, lately my boss had a desktop that monitors them while she's in her office.

Sad to hear this Some supervisors are like that, they want to show they have power, and this they show to the persons working under them but they butter the higher officers to remain in the good book

Well, unlucky for her because the highest boss, my direct boss doesn't like her actually ever since. She always tells me she feels a bad blood for her. So her eyes is always on her.

I guess your suspicion on them might be right. Who would defend staff who always have shortages. And it is not right nagging new employees unless there is a proof that they do not perform well and commits errors a lot. Hmmmmnn I'm curious about what will happen after your investigation.

We strongly suspect that the old cashiers shortages are misappropriations in which she may have partaken. But we don't have solid proof yet. However, i suggested that those cashiers be relieved already and be just attendants in the store, while they are further digging on their shortages.

If I will react on to this, your supervisor might have set standard expectations for a newly hired employees. But then, it not justifiable if the expectations is for personal preferences. If the applicants will meet the requirements, then there will be no reasons not to hire them.

Actually, the supervisor only favors the old ones. As supervisor, she should also try to understand that the new ones are under training so she should be patient with them. And when she berates the employee, she should perhaps do it in a way that it could be heard by everyone in the store. Perhaps she can call them at her office and there berate her.

Try to trap her with hidden cams, that's one way to prove her guilty. I've worked with this kind of people, they always have reasons for any issues invloving them and point the blames to innocent workers. If she gets away from that investigative meeting, it means she's really good in reasoning out, so better trap her with videos or photos.

Actually, we added CCTVs in their place of work one is already near her cubicle. y boss always monitors her on her TV monitor. So, she really can't deny some allegations.
