Hi friend!
This can be a big help for me. Sometimes I have a lot of things to do and forget the things or site I must visit, so if I am being notified, things are much easier. These notification serves as a reminder.

Yes and for a kind of a blog site, I only choose a blog that match with me.
I could get resources from them.
Sometime, I make a translation on them and post it on my blog or on shvoong.
@ungu yes it is, that's why we have to pick the one that will give benefit to us.

so i just separate my mail between work and other stuff i do.
so, it will not mix up with my work or i will miss my work

There are some sites that have search engines and toolbars. Others send paid mails if you want them to. I use those extra tools at some sites I specially like, sites that are legit and have paid me for years.

In my opinion it depends upon the category of field of that site's functioning. Usually I subscribe it, since I can delete later any problematic or inconvenient types. Generally almost cases are deleted.

That is a good idea since visitors are important to blogs. I haven't tried at blogs to earn. Hope you have some pleasant earnings from blogs.
