I finished the first volume from "In Search of Lost Time" and I was fascinated about the writing style of the author, but also about the story of Swann. Proust makes a big change in the litearature's approach related to human nature, trying to talk about human beings, with their qualities and flows, without constructing a hero or idealizing certain feelings.
What I felt reading this book, was that feelings I used to call ineffable, were so well described by the narathor of Swann's story. He shows how twisted love can be, how many different feelings compose that big frame we call love and how easy and fulfilling you can do associations between your beloved one and all that he/she likes.
Have you read something from Proust work? Have you felt the same as I, related to love? What do you think about Swann?
