Dear freinds Mylotters.
From a long time now, I have noticed that my netbook is very slow in applications and Internet browsing.
I know this is a very common problem. I among other things, to navigate using Google Chrome, as I have personally noticed that it is perhaps the netbrowser most faster than the other competitors.
I do not know what can be brought to these delays, which until a month ago, however, everything went smoothly.
Now I ask you for advice.
Do you know what 100% freeware application I can download to make my computer return to work quite as fast as when I bought it?
However, I want a program easy to use, maybe even going to do the cleaning of the system registry, but that does damage (I know that there is such as "CCleaner", but if not used properly, it may cause malfunction.)
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

. To remove unused software, defrag HDDs, etc will make your netbook work a bit faster but not as fast as when you bought it on a Windows computer because internal registries databases are growing constantly, and you will not find a study online proving that cleaning the system registries improves really the OS speed : it is as much use as a poultice on a wooden leg, and the only valid thing to do is to reformat and reinstall Windows and your software

You can always install a dual boot and see the difference. I did it on my laptop before removing completely Windows : Linux is 40% faster, even if it was "Designed for Windows"
. Check it yourself, but from my own experience, you will not get any notable speed improvement with a registry cleaner.

Well, like I said previous the user, the formatting of the entire netbook, if possible, I would avoid it.
At this point I could see to download the registry cleaner software, and see if from there, I'd get some results.
However, in all respects, LINUX, not ever will install, as this computer was manufactured with Windows 7 Starter, and should remain so.

Maybe your computer contains malwares, do you scan your netbook?and try to defrag it,
When my netbook goes slower, I just do is, Delete some unneccesary programs, CCleaner, Run an antivirus, Run an anti spywares, and Defrag, after it, restart, and my laptop runs smoothly,

hello, Albrello! I really do not rely on freewares to make my machine's performance become faster. What I do is I do have it reformat by a technician and then it is good to go. You might need to delete some applications that you really do not use, too.

Well, let's say my applications do not use, I have practically eliminated all. Because at the timeĀ at my discussion have answered in four (so far) and all of you suggested formatting the system, I would not do, but I think about it, I have no other choice!

Most of the time, these kinds of problems come from the computer itself. Maybe it is too old enough so some of the parts naturally disfunctions, or it could be because you run too many programs or worst, it contains viruses, worms, etc.
Or if you can reformat it then give it a try.

Well the computer was bought just over a year ago. So at the moment I do not classify it as "too old."
I can try with some program or antiworms antispyreware. But the formatting, if possible, I would like to avoid!
