Marquez defeats Pacquiao on the Dec. 8 (2012) Marquez-Pacquiao 4 showdown. After the devastating right hook of Marquez on the face of Pacquiao, fans kept silent and could not believe their eyes set on the Filipino sprawled on the mat, then bowed down their heads in acceptance of defeat. What is your suggestion or comment on behalf of Pacquiao?

I think Pacman should already retire. He has proven himself as Champion of the Filipino people so that's okay already. No need to prove himself again on the ring.

To retire is a bitter pill for him to swallow, to think that he's only 33 years old compared to Marquez 39. Revenge is innate in all creatures.

Well indeed he cannot succumb to retirement yet, because he still has to prove that it was just a "lucky punch" for Marquez. I really hope he will make the right decision this time.

We are all expecting him the best to rearm mentally and physically. We don't want him to succumb to shady deals so as not to tarnish his good name. Let the flame of love be always in his heart to do more good for the country and his people. Many of Pacquiao's countrymen have blamed him for his loss, but have done so because of his love for him.

It happens to boxers. The only way it doesn't happen is to avoid boxers that can knock you out, like Money Mayweather has done for the past decade of his career. Manny wasn't outboxed. He tried to duck and weave up to the right to get a right hook in, and Marquez just threw a brilliant punch that happened to land square of Manny's chin. It was lights out.
