Do You Ever Wish You Had More

family members like sister inlaws, brothers, MIL, or whatever in your life right now? I am just so alone alot of the time with just my folks here and then the brother from hel. He is just like 'no one' here though and just interested in food and TV for the most part. If he's getting his room and board for free that is all that matters to him too. I mean, I want some nephews or neices too. I can't have kids, I have had too many health woes that finally got taken care of, and now it's too late to have any for me. It is just something I have to get over. I feel so sad that so many kids got killed today in that tragedy in Conn., that I wish only for the parents to have some peace after this. They will need so much counseling though I'm sure. I'm sure they feel somewhat alone right now too but probably have family to support them, whereas I don't have any if it would have happened to me.

Yeah I do sometimes wish that I had a bigger family but I do enjoy the one I have. I don't have any cousins or anything like that though or nephews or nieces. I also don't really see anyone from my dad's side of the family very much. The only family that I am real close with are my mom and my brother and I'm glad to be able to have them around.

This is a situation that happens often now because people no longer live near their families and this is very poignant at this time of the year. At least you have your parents with you so you are not entirely alone. Even people with large families can feel lonely, it is not just a question of being part of a large family. Perhaps knowing that you cannot have children makes it worse but even people with children often feel neglected. This is even harder to bear than being childless because there is so much rejection to handle when those we love do not love us enough to be companionable or take an interest in our welfare.

I sure do. I used to have grandparents, great uncles, aunts, cousins, neices and nephews, a step brother,step father and afew extended ones as well. Now there is just my daughter and two grandchildren. Every year at this time I think of them. I hope the parents who lost children today will know peace too. So sad and this time of year too. How awful. I am sorry you can't have any children. You can always adopt if you want them bad enough. Something to think about I guess.

I do not have any wish as of today but a companion for next year. I am living with my friend right now.He is pursuing to go abroad by next year for greener pasture and I will be left behind and I am not use into it. I want a companion at least one. I don't want to live alone. Good thing, my younger brother is about to finish his high school in the province and he said he'll gonna take his college here.So I'm somewhat blessed.
