Considering life and death

It depends on how you consider the life force. Why can't we see life and death in the same way we view a change of clothing? After all if you believe in a soul, then isn't the journey into a body just like putting on a new suit of clothing and death then considered a change of that clothing for whatever reason? After all the soul remains the life force that is just moving along. Could you consider this?
