Are you all for some nail trivia yet? LOL, you know you are. Your fingernails grow faster on the hand that you favor. If you are right-handed, your nails will grow faster on the right, and if you are left-handed, vice versa. Have you noticed this? I am not sure bu it seems like it's true. I have mine unpainted most of the time, the polish I put on them the other day is 98% worn off on it's own and didn't need any polish remover. Do you usually wait til it all wears off or remove it as soon as the polish starts to wear off? Any other nail tidbits to share with us? Right now my finger is hurting but not near the nail, I must have opened a box wrong and hurt myself last night, ouch. On the other hand (no pun intended) my eczema is finally going away, my right hand was full of this rash and it looked pretty bad but didn't itch or hurt like it was supposed to, thank God.

I didn't know these facts, I guess we learn something new everyday. I had to go staring at my hands now. I was going to cut my nails this morning, but was too tired. I am right handed and some of my nails are longer on those hands. I wonder why? Is it because we use it more, so you ding your hands around, and nails are for protection. I find my fingers hurt as well, I am not sure what I have done to them.

Yes, I have noticed that my right hand grows faster. I have to use Nutra Nail on the other hand so they are as long. My nail polish usually wears off pretty quickly and I just use the remover to get the little bits left over. I use clear over a color to make it last longer. Glad your eczema is gone.

Now you mention it I have looked at my favoured left hand and yes, the nails are longer there. I have also noticed that if I hurt my hand it is usually the right one, that seems odd because I do not use as much as my left.
As far as nail care goes I rub a little vaseline on mine when I remove nail varnish. My nails look nice with varnish but I don't like the feel of it especially when the weather is hot. Has anyone noticed this? Now it is winter I am going to pay closer attention to my hands and keep them nicely painted.

Really? Well it seems to be true, the fingernails on my master hand (which is my right hand by the way) always seem to grow faster. Usually I wait till the polish is halfway off to remove them, or when school holidays (yeah still schooling here) end, whichever comes first. Hope your eczema fully goes away soon!
